Snow on the hills
Tried some abbreviated brushwork and left some canvas untouched to give a loose and airy quality. This was a good switch and has provided some new ideas for paint work. Keep light in the shadows. Composition: 1 thing. Find a comfortable place for the eye to naturally rest. (This is determined by the size of the scene and how far out one's eye goes to just relax) Lastly, all that matters, can you feel the temperature and the light?
